Our Team

School Staff

The staff at HecLife are a dedicated team of professionals committed to transforming the lives of vulnerable children in Watamu, Kenya. The team includes one administrator, four teachers, one dietician, and two security personnel, each playing a crucial role in the organization’s mission.

The administrator oversees the daily operations of the school, ensuring that all aspects of the program run smoothly and efficiently. The teachers are responsible for delivering high-quality education and nurturing the intellectual growth of the students. The dietician ensures that the children receive nutritious meals that support their overall health and well-being, while the security personnel maintain a safe and secure environment for everyone on campus.

Volunteers

The volunteers at HecLife are the heart and soul of the organization, bringing passion, dedication, and expertise to every aspect of the work. Coming from diverse backgrounds, these selfless individuals contribute their time and skills to improve the lives of the children in our care. From educators and healthcare professionals to construction workers and community leaders, HecLife’s volunteers are committed to making a tangible difference. They play a crucial role in delivering educational programs, conducting health assessments, and helping with critical infrastructure projects that directly benefit the children.

Recent volunteer efforts have included building platforms for future clinic sites, upgrading kitchen facilities, and performing full health assessments for the children. Each volunteer's work ensures that the children not only receive a quality education but also access to proper nutrition and healthcare, making a significant and lasting impact. By working together, the team of volunteers at HecLife is creating a brighter, healthier future for the community, one child at a time.

The Passion Project

HecLife volunteers are the heart of our mission—dedicated, unpaid, and driven by a deep passion to help children in Kenya build a better future. They give their time, energy, and skills not for recognition or reward, but because they believe every child deserves a chance to thrive. From medical checkups to school improvements, their impact is felt daily on the ground.
