  • Your donation supports a range of critical initiatives at HecLife. Funds are used to provide essential educational resources, basic medical care, and operational costs. Contributions help us upgrade our facilities, including completing the bathroom facilities and cafeteria, and supporting the development of a community clinic. Donations also enable us to sustain our comprehensive programs and support our staff in providing quality care and education to vulnerable children.

  • Since its founding in 2012, HecLife has made significant strides in improving the lives of children in Watamu. We have established a comprehensive school program, built a full staff including administrators, teachers, a dietician, and security personnel, and provided both educational and medical support. Our efforts have created a safe, nurturing environment for children, many of whom are orphans, giving them opportunities for a better future.

  • Our future plans include several key developments to enhance our capacity and impact. We aim to finalize the upgrades to our bathroom facilities and cafeteria, and eventually add a community clinic to address local medical needs. These initiatives will help us become a fully self-sustaining boarding school, allowing us to provide continuous support and care for children and serve as a valuable resource for the community.
